Isa’s first year is rapidly coming to a close and he’s changing in leaps and bounds. A few nights ago, Isa figured out how to knock the picture books down off the self. Once he got them on the floor, he spent about 20 minutes by himself opening each book and looking through all the pages making sounds to himself. The word he still says most often, of course, is “agua,” but some other sounds make it in there too. He’s done this now for the last 3 nights–sort of his new evening ritual.
